About .LifeInsurance

The American Council of Life Insurers applied to create the .LifeInsurance Top Level Domain (TLD) in 2012 and is currently the ICANN-designated registry operator of the TLD. The American Council of Life Insurers is a trade association based in Washington, DC, that has over 200 years of in the insurance business. The TLD will initially be operated as a restricted registry, meaning that domain names within the TLD will not be sold to the general public; however, the American Council of Life Insurers may, in the future, evaluate a model whereby domain names within .Lifesinsurance would be sold to partners or to potential customers of ACLI's members.
